Dr. Drew Farmer
A native of Columbia, Dr. Farmer earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1998 and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine.
While at MUSC, Dr. Farmer achieved a top-ten class rank, was awarded the prestigious SCDA Student Scholarship Award, and the F. Edward Hebert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship.
Dr. Farmer’s training continued upon completing the rigorous U.S. Army Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program. During this program, participants complete extensive work in many fields of dentistry, including complex treatment planning, occlusion, Periodontics, implant restoration, oral surgery, digital dentistry, and Endodontics, sleep dentistry, and esthetic dentistry. Graduates of this program are exposed to both expert instruction and the most advanced technology in dentistry.
Dr. Farmer’s extensive training in dental implants has awarded him with membership into the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Farmer is very passionate about helping our soldiers and veteran community. He served in the US Army an active duty officer and continues his military career in the South Carolina Army National Guard.
Dr. Farmer and his wife have two sons. In his free time, Dr. Farmer enjoys working out, cheering for his favorite football teams, water sports on Lake Murray, and coaching youth sports.
